This course is ideal for those of you who would like to get to know the basics of all aspects of
filmmaking and production. This film workshop helps students get the introduction they need whilst still being able to fulfil their remaining obligations through the week.
This course covers all the basics of Acting, Filmmaking, Cinematography, Direction, Scriptwriting. Editing, Pre Production, Production, Post Production & Design.
Students will learn the tools they need to make a short film and meet every weekend for three months in order to make the project. The film equipment & resources will be provided as well as the shooting will be scheduled around the class timings.

The Cinematography Specialization students work hand – in – hand with the other department
specializations from the filmmaking program. This provides all our students with the resources they
need to shoot live film shoots, as well as, gives them opportunities to network with directors, screen play writers, editors, actors and more. IFA believes in hands on training and students get to access real filmmaking equipment during their projects. As cinematography students work on each other’s
films they will gain hands-on experience working with HD cameras, 16mm film, 35mm film, and RED digital video cameras.

Students will learn the tools they need to make a short film and meet every weekend for three months in order to make the project. The film equipment & resources will be provided as well as the shooting will be scheduled around the class timings.
